By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Scientific Calculator ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the App.

Scientific Calculator is intended for educational, scientific, engineering, professional, and general mathematical calculations.

The App provides mathematical tools including numerical, scientific, statistical, graphical, matrix, calculus, equation-solving, unit-conversion, currency-conversion, and related calculation functions.

Users are responsible for reviewing and independently verifying results before relying on them for important decisions.

The App should not be relied upon as the sole basis for safety-critical, financial, engineering, medical, legal, or other decisions where an incorrect result could result in significant loss, damage, or harm.

Reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate mathematical calculations and reliable results.

However, results may be affected by factors including:

• Numerical precision and rounding
• Approximation methods
• User input
• Device or platform limitations
• Software defects or unexpected behaviour
• Differences between mathematical conventions or applicable standards

The developer does not guarantee that every calculation or result will be exact, complete, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Users should independently verify important calculations using appropriate recognised methods, standards, references, or professional tools where necessary.

The Currency Converter uses official exchange-rate data published by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) through its Open Data service.

The App retrieves the public NBU exchange-rate table and performs the selected currency conversion locally on the user's device.

The monetary amount entered by the user and the selected currency pair are not included in the NBU exchange-rate request.

Exchange-rate information may be cached locally and may therefore not always represent the latest available market rate.

Currency conversions are provided for informational and general calculation purposes only. Exchange rates shown by the App should not be treated as binding quotations for:

• Banking transactions
• Foreign-exchange trading
• Investment decisions
• Payments
• Accounting
• Taxation
• Commercial settlements
• Other financial transactions

The National Bank of Ukraine provides the underlying public exchange-rate data but does not sponsor, endorse, certify, or operate Scientific Calculator.

The App includes unit-conversion tools for scientific, engineering, technical, and general-purpose quantities.

Recognised conversion factors and constants are used where applicable. However, users remain responsible for confirming that:

• The correct physical quantity has been selected
• The source and target units are appropriate
• The required measurement standard is applicable
• The precision of the result is suitable for the intended use

Unit-conversion results should be independently verified when they are used in safety-critical, regulated, engineering, scientific, or commercial applications.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain the accuracy, reliability, security, and availability of the App, the developer does not guarantee that:

• The App will always operate without errors or interruption
• Every calculation will be suitable for every purpose
• All information or exchange-rate data will always be current
• Every device or Android version will behave identically
• All features will remain permanently available
• The App will be completely free from software defects

Use of the App and reliance on any result produced by it are at the user's own discretion and responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other loss or damage arising from or related to the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon the App.

This includes, without limitation, loss or damage resulting from:

• Calculation errors
• Rounding or numerical approximation
• User input errors
• Incorrect unit selection
• Inaccurate, unavailable, or outdated exchange-rate information
• Software malfunction or interruption
• Loss of locally stored data
• Device-specific behaviour
• Reliance on results produced by the App

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, statutory protection, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

The App may display advertisements using Google AdMob.

Advertisements and advertising-related services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's applicable terms, policies, consent requirements, and privacy practices.

Depending on applicable privacy requirements and user choices, advertisements may be personalised, non-personalised, or otherwise limited.

The appearance of an advertisement within the App does not constitute an endorsement by the developer of the advertised product, service, company, or organisation.

The App may use or interact with third-party services, including:

• Google AdMob
• Google User Messaging Platform
• National Bank of Ukraine Open Data

These services are operated independently of the developer and are subject to their own terms, policies, availability, and privacy practices.

The developer is not responsible for the content, operation, availability, security, or policies of third-party services or websites.

Additional information about data handling and third-party services is available in the App's Privacy Policy.

Scientific Calculator may receive updates, new features, improvements, bug fixes, compatibility changes, or security enhancements through Google Play.

Features may be added, modified, replaced, restricted, or discontinued in future versions.

The developer does not guarantee continued availability of any particular feature, calculation mode, external service, exchange-rate source, or user-interface component.

Some App features may depend on internet access or external services.

For example, retrieval of new currency exchange-rate data and advertising-related services may be unavailable if:

• The device is offline
• An external service is unavailable
• A network request fails
• A third-party provider modifies or discontinues its service

Most mathematical calculations and unit conversions are designed to operate locally and do not require internet access.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App, its functionality, third-party services, applicable policies, legal requirements, or other relevant circumstances.

The latest version of these Terms & Conditions will be published on this page.

Continued use of the App after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
